The first thing people notice when they come into the dining room is the hanging lamp. Comments vary from "WOW! That's cool!" to "What the f--k is that?" Ingo Maurer's Zettel'z consists of sheets of Japanese parchment clipped to fine stainless steel rods held in a sort of bouquet around a halogen light. Some of the sheets come with sayings or poems in various languages but most are blank and are meant to filled in by the owner. We've written poems and favorite sayings on some, while friends have contributed some thoughts. Dynamique!
