La Chaise in Alcove
This sunny alcove off the dining room has always been the ideal spot to showcase our chairs. La Chaise designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948 is definitely the current favorite. The walls here are done in Venetian Plaster burnished with a stainless steel blade to achieve a marble-like finish. The colors were lifted from a rose in our garden.
